When Catherine talked to me about her wedding colour theme at first I was not so sure. Of course, it is classic, elegant, and bold, but… black dresses for the bridesmaids? Hmm… my first thought was: ”Would it have more wedding or funeral vibe? Black for men's suits or simple details, like table numbers or font - no problem, but dresses?”
I had to sleep on this idea not only for one night. Then, as usual, my imagination went on a spinning wheel, but most importantly, I opened my mind to listen to my own daughter! It was the wedding of my fourth daughter, the youngest daughter, I wanted it to look splendid! I had all means to create it that way! No matter how much I wanted to convince her about the changes I talked to myself at the same time, as I talk to the mothers of the brides:
“It is not your wedding, you had yours, it is about your daughter, and she knows what she wants, you are here to support her and put together her vision with your props. You have to open your heart and brain. Simple.”
This color combination is timeless, elegant, and daring – perfect for the bride who isn’t afraid to stand out. We kept it plain, minimalistic, and modern. It was an unforgettable experience and I learned a lot about my bride. Designing and working together on CH & CJ's wedding project bonded us even more.
And we did it!
Catherine Helena has been, like the other two daughters, Kornelia and Karolina, a member of BE crew for years. She has experience in the execution of BE designs and DIY input. She learned how to use my Cricut machine to lay out and personalize the little things to cohere all elements of the design style and theme.

Look for yourself. A bold colour scheme of black, white, and red for the bridal party was a perfect way to make a statement and leave a lasting impression thanks to the amazing talents and hard work of Jessica Lauren and her companion. They capture love, light, and emotion in a very artistic way.
