PUDDICOMBE HOUSE is located in New Hamburg, Ontario.

I found it … no, no. It was shown to me by my bride, Paulina, in the early spring of 2021. I went there with her and her fiance, Seth to see the venue for the first time and do some initial planning on the spot.

I was stunned at first sight! It was a gem hidden so very close to Kitchener with such a European spirit! I fell in love with everything about it, the venue’s charm, and the kind welcome by the manager, Nick, his Mom, and his event coordinator, Alaya. They open their hearts and arms to cooperate to make the event special!

It is still my top favourite venue I have decorated.

Where vintage elegance meets gourmet masterpiece and high-end hospitality, I hardly recommend celebrating your love commitment at the beautiful and historic location in New Hamburg.

I am still very excited thinking about the Puddicombe House charm so I decided to give you A TOUR OF THE VENUE. Below you view how we arrange the space for

@ PUDDICOMBE HOUSE for Diana and Patryk's Wedding.

Let’s start our tour.

When you enter any venue, the first thing to grab your attention and assurance that you are at the right place is the WELCOME or HELLO greeting SIGN.

You climb the stairs. Here you can gaze at yourself in a mirror hanging above a dresser-like vintage shelf. Each end is decked with a night lamp. The top of this “dresser” can be left beautiful as it is or used for a picture table, candy stand, or any other purpose according to your own design.

After you finish enjoying that part, you can turn right to see the entertaining corner used as the welcome/ gift table area with the space designated for the gifts for guests and a seating plan. You can sit down on a sofa or a chair chatting and waiting for the newlywed to arrive.

Then you need to find your table.

In the center, adorned with the backdrop, we position a small table for the Bride & Groom and their witnesses.

On the left side of the bridal party table, on the heavy marble and brass bar table, you can notice a wedding cake on display.

The backdrop and the sweetheart table in the front of it were our statement features, and they really made an impact loved by the entire party.

The statement features are where the brides are advised to allocate their budget, after their own bouquet. We love to create in abundance and highlight the items that make an impact and are seen by guests. This way we create unforgettable memories beautifully captured by the photographers.

In that case, we focused on the overall aesthetic and colour palette, not just specific flowers.

It worked not only because I was listening to the Bride about her needs, but she also considered my advice! We were at the same pace.

We also like to implement personal “THINGS” that the family already has or that are important for them. BUT…

But the coherence and aesthetics are very important, trend is not always a #1 factor.

Across the head table wall, we set the table for the DJ and the podium for the speeches. That part of the room becomes a center of attention sometimes for a few hours. We couldn’t neglect that!

The window corner by the left door we use for the sweet table presentation. You can grab a piece of cake and talk to someone who doesn’t share your table sitting by the coffee table. We place the same candle arrangement on the coffee table as at the welcome right site.

We couldn’t forget about the bar spot décor. Everybody comes here to grab a drink!

Then you turn around to look at the whole room to see the guest tables.

Our determination is always to create a beautiful space by focusing on a cohesive, holistic design. That’s why sometimes it takes a lot of time to find that specific little thing to match the other elements to achieve the goal. There is much more invisible work of preparation you could be aware of. Even we forget from time to time and dive into creation with the whole mind and heart. It is all because of love.

Great things

are not done by impulse, but by a series of

small things brought together.

As you probably could notice this is BeataEvents favourite V. Van Gogh's quote and the mission statement of our work we follow with every project.

We are always very grateful to all of you who have been supportive of our small business.
