VINTAGE
Updated: May 20
When I think VINTAGE the first picture which comes to my mind is lace, beautiful creme lace, soft and delicate like femininity, yet, I think about elegance, quality, friendship, and laughter. Yes - laughter, lots of fun! Maybe because its Latin root comes from wine and grapes harvest, vintage red wine for the wedding table would be appreciated by many guests, don't you think?

As a face, Audrey Hepburn is my icon.
“The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.

True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.”
Because I like little things, I also see how to connect and implement them in decorating an event, how to bring a personal touch to every detail of the social gathering, and how to transform a design into your own story.
2020 brings even more opportunities to apply vintage elements to beautify and make the decor have a trendy look.
For instance, use:
the picture or mirror frame for welcome and/or seating charts/ signs.
Place napkins or runners from linens with subtle patterns in pastel hues. An antique clock, candle holders, vases, and even books in stunning covers are personal addition to the welcome table. Pick crystal or metal vases instead of plain glass cylinders. Actually, use old ware as a vessel for meadow flowers, lavender, mini carnations, spray roses, grasses, and daisies. Dried flowers, pods, branches, berries and fruits added to the compositions will create the trendy and vintage desire. Wooden elegant table surface or antique piece of furniture is a must to achieve that personal classy mood to welcome your guests.

Wicker baskets are excellent not only for bread but for bigger flower arrangements, flip flops, blankets, napkins, or other accessories containers.

The most important idea though is to keep romance, class, and simplicity to create a dazzling compilation to match the overall mood. It should reflect you and your love story.

"May those who love you be like the morning sun."
